Maile has a ton of stuffed animals and dolls, but she’s never taken too much interest in them (outside of the bunnies that she sleeps with). She’ll play with them on occasion, but never seemed particular attached to any given one. That appears to be changing. Over the last week, she’s really started to play with her dollies more and is treating them like her own little babies. She’s particularly interested in changing their diapers and bringing them to the potty. We catch her talking to them too, like how we talk to her (for example, she asked her dollie if she had a good nap while it was going potty in the bathroom the other day).

Needless to say, as with most things, Christine and I are getting endless amusement from this new development.
