This one is for Papa Mike. On Sunday, we went to check out Sunday Streets over in North Beach. It wasn’t very busy when we went, but the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition was setup with balance bikes. Balance bikes are this new concept where they teach little kids to “balance” on bikes without pedals or training wheels. Apparently, it is better for kids to learn how to balance first and then add in the pedaling. (Makes sense to me, more details here.)
Mommy got Maile started by showing her how things worked ...
... then Maile and Daddy raced down the rest of the course!
