Photography Lessons for Mommy

by Papa K on June 28, 2011

We probably don’t mention it enough, but Christine is responsible for 90% of the pictures that appear on this blog. She’s the motor behind the scenes that makes this work.

We’re pretty happy with our camera (the Canon Rebel XSi) – but the reality is we don’t know how to use it fully. Chris sometimes messes around with the settings, but most of our pictures are taken in Auto mode.

Things are going to change going forward though – armed with the knowledge of a photography lesson (courtesy of Maile and Daddy for Mother’s Day) – Mommy is ready to rock with new exposures, apertures, ISOs, shutter speeds, framing. We headed out on Sunday for our first photo session to check out her new skills – and boy did Mommy deliver!

(Dad note: The class Chris took was at Isla Studios in San Francisco. She enjoyed it.)
