After Grandma Gail saw that Maile started rolling over Thanksgiving, she kindly asked that Maile deliver a similar holiday milestone when she came to Hawaii. We made no promises, but Maile indeed had a milestone up her sleeve. Unbeknown to us she had been practicing her sitting – and one morning busted it out for all to see. It’s still a little rough around the edges and she can’t pull herself up to a sitting position, but once she’s sitting she can stay that way for a good while and play with toys. Needless to say, Grandma Gail was quite impressed and pleased with Maile’s little Christmas gift…
